The GOODList Platform: Connecting 10,000 Creatives with Global Brands
The GOODList needed a platform that could do two things at once: showcase 10,000 creatives beautifully and actually work at scale.
We built a system that highlights the quality of the talent while staying true to The GOODList's brand. The backend is flexible enough to grow with them, powerful enough to handle the complexity, and affordable enough to make sense for their business.

"I've had the pleasure of collaborating with Baast Studio on two projects, and they have consistently been a breeze to work with. What truly stands out to me is their clear communication style and collaborative approach. I especially appreciate how they keep you closely involved throughout their process."
Lesley Winterbach, Founder of The GOODList
Background
The GOODList started as a way to help creative freelancers find meaningful work. What began as a support network quickly grew into a global community of over 10,000 creatives.
As they scaled, they needed more than a directory. They needed a platform that could match talent with opportunity, connecting clients and hiring managers to the right creatives at the right time.
Our Process
From a technical perspective, we focused on efficiently loading thousands of videos and images while ensuring that every hover and interaction felt purposeful. Our goal was to create a seamless experience where interactions became a pedestal, allowing users to focus entirely on the creative talent.
Spotlight on the talent
For The Goodlist, a community-driven approach means valuing every talent equally. We wanted to reflect this ethos by designing interactions and implementing technology that makes it easy for community managers and curators to update, maintain, and nurture the community.
The GOODList's mission is simple: make recruitment better. More diverse hires, transparent processes, and fees that don't punish creatives or clients. We built a platform that lives those values. Every feature, every interaction reflects what they stand for.
